¿Que harás tu con Cristo?
“Te aseguro que hoy estarás conmigo en el paraíso, le contesto Jesús”. Lucas 23:43
En mis años de juventud me acuerdo un himno que cantaba con el coro de la iglesia que decía algo así: “Ante Pilato Jesús esta, todos los suyos se fueron ya. Pregunta y oye y que se hará. ¿Que harás tu con Cristo? No puedes ser neutral. Pronto tendrás que decidirte”. Esa es la misma pregunta que Jesús nos hace a nosotros en el día de hoy; ¿Qué harás tu conmigo? No puedes ser neutral.
Las personas muchas veces dicen: “Si solo tuviese un día mas de vida, esto es lo que voy a hacer”. De ahí, producen una lista de varias actividades y deseos. Lo cierto es que ninguno de nosotros sabe el día ni la hora en que tomaremos nuestro último respiro. Solo Dios lo sabe.
Estos versos que encontramos en el Evangelio de Lucas, nos cuenta la historia de dos criminales que sentenciados a morir conjuntamente con Jesús. Lo más probable que estas dos personas no estaban preparadas para lo que estaba a punto de acontecer. Al final de sus vidas, uno de ellos continuaba resistiendo el amor salvador de Dios, mientras que el otro, se humillo y le pidió a Jesús que lo salvara. Qué diferencia ese pedido hace en la vida espiritual de ese hombre. Un hombre murió sin Dios, el otro murió con la paz de conocer que desde ese mismo momento iba a estar caminando con el Señor en el paraíso.
¿Qué harás tú con Cristo? No puedes ser neutral. Pilato se lavo las manos y en vez de declararlo inocente, lo condeno. El pueblo judío, escogió a Barrabás y rechazaron al Mesías. El otro ladrón en la cruz escogió morir sin Cristo en su corazón. ¿Y tú? ¿Qué vas a hacer con Cristo? Hay dos opciones, pero solo una te lleva a la vida eterna y experimentar el amor y la gloria de Dios por la eternidad. ¿Cuál es tu decisión?
Que el Señor y bendiga y te guarde y que permita que esas palabras puedan renovar tu espíritu.

People often say, "If only I had one more day of life, this is what I do. " Hence, they produce a list of various activities and desires. The truth is that none of us knows the day nor the hour in which we take our last breath. Only God knows.
These verses found in the Gospel of Luke tells the story of two criminals sentenced to die along with Jesus. Most likely that these two people were not prepared for what was about to happen. At the end of their lives, one of them continued to resist the saving love of God, while the other humble himself and asked Jesus to save him. What difference that made ​​in the spiritual life of this man. A man died without God, the other died with the peace of knowing that from that moment he would be walking with the Lord in paradise.
What would you do with Christ? You can not be neutral. Pilate washed his hands and  sentenced him. The Jewish people chose Barabbas and rejected the Messiah. The other thief on the cross choose to die without Christ  in his heart. And you? What do you do with Christ? There are two options, but only one takes you to eternal life and experience the love and glory of God for eternity. What is your decision?
